Basant Panchmi Celebrated
B.V.M. Chd Road, celebrated "Basant Panchmi", festival which marks the end of the winter season and onset of spring. Day commenced with "Saraswati Vandana" by the students of I and II class, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati for seeking knowledge and wisdom. Students of III and VIII classes participated in various activities and competitions like "Shalok Gayan Competition", "Sanskrit Prayer Recitation" and "Basant Panchmi Drawing Activity”. Little tots of primary wing came in Yellow blossoming attires and brought Yellow food in tiffins to celebrate the "Yellow Day". A school premise was abuzz with the festival spirit.
