Guru Purnima Celebrated at BVM Sec-39

To honor the contribution of teachers and gurus, BVM Sec. 39, Chandigarh celebrated Guru Purnima with great enthusiasm and reverence. At the school, The Principal, teachers, and students performed Guru Pujan. They bowed with veneration to Jagat Maa Saraswati Ji and Guru Ji Shri Madhav Rao Sadashiv Rao Golwalkar Ji, offered Charan Vandana, and paid floral tributes.


The celebration included class-wise activities:  
Classes I–II: Students wrote a few lines on "My Favorite Teacher".

Classes III–V: A Story Telling session was conducted where students narrated inspiring stories of Maharishi Ved Vyas, Guru Dronacharya, and Eklavya.  

Classes VI–VIII: Students created a "Thanku Guru" Gratitude Wall by pasting notes expressing gratitude towards their teachers.  
The event concluded with a Sanskrit speech by a Class VIII student, mentored by Ms  Bindu.

Principal, Upasna Modgil said, "Gurus shape our character and future. On this Guru Purnima, may our students always respect their teachers and imbibe the values of gratitude and wisdom."

The celebration highlighted the importance of the guru-shishya tradition and Indian values.
