BVM SEC-39 CELEBRATES SHRI PARSHURAM JAYANTI WITH REVERENCE AND FERVOUR « 18/Apr/2026
Lokmanya House of BVM Sec-39 celebrated Shri Parshuram Jayanti with great devotion and enthusiasm to commemorate the birth anniversary of Lord Parshuram, the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu, revered as the epitome of wisdom, valour, and righteousness.
The event commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, followed by a soulful prayer invoking the blessings of Lord Parshuram. was organised where Ms.Akanksha eloquently highlighted the life, ideals, and teachings of Lord Parshuram, emphasising her message of _‘Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah’_ — Dharma protects those who protect it.
To showcase oratory skills, students participated in a speech and declamation competition on the topic _‘Relevance of Lord Parshuram’s Teachings in Modern Era’_. The young orators impressed everyone with their clarity of thought and powerful delivery.
The highlight of the programme was an informative documentary screened for the students, depicting the saga of Lord Parshuram — his devotion to Lord Shiva, his role as a warrior-sage, and his contribution to upholding dharma. The documentary left the audience enlightened and inspired.
Principal Ms. Upasna Modgil lauded the house for organising a meaningful celebration and motivated students to follow the path of truth and duty. She remarked that such events strengthen our cultural roots and instil moral values in young minds.
