To mark the birth anniversary of *Bhagwan Mahavira,* the 24th Tirthankar and Prophet of Jainism, Mahavir Jayanti was celebrated with great fervour at *BVM Sec-39.* 
The day began with the chanting of the *Namokar* *Mantra* by *Ms. Meena Sharma ( PGT, Music)* which created a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere in the school .*Ms. Monika Gupta (PGT, Economics)* delivered an enlightening speech on the occasion. She highlighted the life and teachings of Bhagwan Mahavira, emphasizing the importance of non-violence, truth and compassion in our daily lives. She also encouraged students to practice self-discipline, kindness and respect for all living beings, making the message relevant in today’s world.
*Principal, Upasna Modgil, encouraged the young impressionable minds to lead a righteous life and follow the ethical principles of Jainism, including Ahimsa (non-violence), Satya (truth), Asteya (non-stealing)and Aparigraha (non-possession).*
