*NATIONAL DEWORMING DAY observed at BVM SEC -39*
A special awareness session was organised for students at *BVM Sec-39* on the occasion of *National Deworming Day* to promote health, hygiene and overall well-being among children. The session focused on educating students about intestinal worm infections, their causes, symptoms and preventive measures.
Students were made aware of the importance of personal hygiene, regular hand washing, wearing clean clothes and consuming safe food and water. *Ms. Paramjeet Kaur ( Dispensary Incharge )and Ms. Richa ( TGT Science)* highlighted how deworming plays a vital role in improving children’s nutrition, growth, and learning ability.
Addressing the students, *Principal Upasna Modgil emphasised the importance of good health in academic success. She said,"A healthy child can learn better and grow stronger. Regular deworming, along with good hygiene practices, is essential for the overall development of children* ."
The session was interactive and informative, reinforcing the school’s commitment to nurturing healthy and responsible citizens.
