Swami Vivekananda Ji’s Birth Anniversary and Lohri ardour grips B.V.M.
“Everything that is excellent will come when this sleeping soul is aroused to self conscious activity”, such precious thoughts and ideologies of Swami Vivekananda Ji were honoured in B.V.M. School, Chd Road, Ludhiana. Programme was filled with formidable performances like “Dialogue Delivery Competition”, “Poem Recitation”, “One Act Play” and “Quiz Competition” depicting incidents from Vivekanand Ji’s life enlightened the elated audience. Ritika, Shruti, Sakshi, Vikram bagged first position in Quiz Competition. A Documentary was also shown depicting Swami Ji’s power of concentration, focus, curious nature and determination. To propel the celebration, Lohri was also celebrated vehemently in the school premises with full spirits. Mutiyaars of IX and XI classes tapped their feet to punjabi music in Giddha Competition and in which students of XI class were the winners. Both the celebrations were at great triumph.
Principal Upasna Modgil greeted everyone and encouraged to burn negativities. She also inspired BVMites to instill positive attitude, discipline and develop the creative and innovative potential.
