With an insight for career in the field of Agro-Science an educational tour was organised to Punjab Agriculture University, for the students of +1 & +2 std. (Med. & Non- Med) under the guidance of Mr. Kumar Gaurav - Vice Principal and Ms. Dolly Sharma (Faculty Science Department).
Students were made conversant about career opportunities in field of Agro- Science by Dr. Rupinder Kaur, Associate Director (Skill Development Center, PAU). Students also got a chance to have an insight about knowledge of plant tissue culture and other research areas in the field of genetics by Dr. Pawan Kumar Malhotra. A visit to Museum of Social History of Punjab, a mirror of state's folklore and culture that reflects the village life and connection with our culture, was enjoyed by the students with a feast of sumptuous lunch.
Principal Upasna Modgil praising the efforts of teachers encouraged the students to design their career in the field of agriculture as it has very vast opportunities of both earning and serving.
