To commemorate the discovery of Ronald Ross in 1897 which established that the Anopheles mosquitoes transmit the malaria parasite to humans, World Malaria Day is celebrated every year. A string of activities were organised by Health & Wellness Club and Science Club to make the students of classes III to IX & XI aware about it. The teachers enlightened the little ones by a short talk and shared imaging facts about mosquitoes. Students of classes IX & XI made Posters and write Slogans related to it. An awareness Rally with Flash Cards was also organised for the students of III to V. A Nukkad Natak was prepared by the students of VI to VIII highlighting the importance of investment in new tools as well as in more effective use of available methods to prevent, diagnose and treat the diseases caused by mosquitos.
Principal Upasna Modgil shared the necessary information regarding the diseases caused by mosquitoes and advised the students to take special care of their health and follow certain steps in case of any symptoms.
