WORLD HERITAGE DAY CELEBRATED WITH VIGOR  AND ZEAL

With an aim to raise awareness among students about the diversity of cultural heritage across the world and to sensitize them to protect historical monuments  "World Heritage Day" was celebrated with great enthusiasm at BVM SEC-39 Ldh..  As part of the celebration , students experienced the varied flavours of the country’s rich cultural legacy through various activities and competitions organised by Cultural and Heritage Club of the school like- picture pasting  , slogan writing, speech, role play, collage making based on all aspects of cultural heritage  like- music,dance,cuisine, attires,    art & craft etc . An Inter House Quiz was also organised for the students of classes VI-VIII . Depicting the culture of different states of India, students of classes IX and XI made all to  connect with their culture and tradition through a Declamation Contest related to Indian heritage.   Principal ,  Upasna Modgil   shared words of encouragement in her address note. She laid emphasis on being aware about one’s heritage and encouraged students to visit monuments and heritage sites during their vacation and share the information collected with their school friends and teachers.  She congratulated the winners with her best wishes.
