B.V.M. , SECTOR-39 CELEBRATED NATIONAL SPORTS DAY WITH POMP AND GRANDEUR
NATIONAL SPORTS DAY was celebrated in BVM, SECTOR-39, LUDHIANA based upon MAJOR DHYAN CHAND JI. An INTER-HOUSE QUIZ CONTEST and INTER HOUSE JUDO COMPETITION were organized in which relentless enthusiasm could be seen in the participants as well as the spectators. Team of BHAGAT SINGH HOUSE came out with flying colors and bagged 1st position in INTER-HOUSE QUIZ CONTEST. Swami Vivekanand House (Girls) bagged 1st position and Bhagat Singh House (Boys) clinched 1st position in INTER HOUSE JUDO COMPETITION. State Judo Gold-Medalist – Ex BVMite Sourabh was specially invited to motivate & guide the students on this special day.
Mr. Sanjeev kumar, Senior Coach, presented the sports report in which he highlighted the accomplishments of the young players who proved their mettle by bagging gold, silver and bronze medals at district and state level competitions. He urged the students to toil hard in the ground and equip themselves with versatile talents to take on the challenges of life.
Principal Upasna Modgil, lauded the sincere efforts of the students and felicitated the proud winners with certificates amidst thunderous applause.
