BVM PERMISES ECHOED WITH PATRIOTIC FERVOR
Saluting the sacrifices of great freedom fighters and patriots Independence Day celebration was observed with great pomp and show at BVM Sec-39 Chd Rd Ldh.
On this auspicious occasion, students were made to participate in various cultural, creative and artistic activities imbued with patriotism. A plethora of activities was created to acquaint the students with the struggle done to bring in sight the dawn of freedom.
The love of the students for the country was well exposed through poem recitation, song singing, dance performance, choreography and one act play based on the theme of patriotism. Dressed in the costumes of various freedom fighters, the children took a pledge to follow the lofty thoughts of the great freedom fighters by delivering dialogues. In the solo dance competition, Dairish of class VI and Anshika and Ishika of class VIII in the duel dance competition won the first position with their scintillating performances. To mark the day, a rally was also taken out by NCC cadets .
Paying homage to the brave martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation, Principal , Ms Upasna Modgil messaged that we all should take a pledge to march ahead on the path of all- round development of the country and determined to maintain the national unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country.
