BVMITES PLEDGED TO MAKE THE MOTHER EARTH A HAPPIER, HEALTHIER AND MORE GREENER PLANET
To understand the magnitude of the problem and solutions BVM Sec- 39 celebrated Earth Day. An array of creative activities was organized with a view to motivate children to do their best towards making their planet even more beautiful. The significance of the Earth Day was highlighted and the students took a pledge to preserve and conserve their self-sustaining planet. Constructive activities like ‘Poster Making’, ‘Slogan Writing’ and ‘Show and Tell’, Inter House Board Decoration Competition, following 3 R's to regenerate the wastage, compost making, plantation, working model making, best out of waste gave the students a platform to exhibit their artistic and creative skills. .Parineet (I) in show and tell, Nandini Rana(II) awared the masses on save earth, Khushi (III) in slogan writing, Parneet(IV) in poem recitation, Aryan (V) in poster making, Aadya Verma (VI) in Best out of waste, Amanpreet (VII) in Declamation, Mansi and team of VIII A in Board Decoration, students of class IX of Aurobindo House in Inter House Quiz competition, Aaryan Gupta (X ) in recycled working model, Inderpreet Singh (XII Sci) in creating Miniature Garden won every one's heart. Principal Upasna Modgil eulogised the marvellous endeavours of our amateur Environmental conservationists and said that each one of us should take a pledge to save Mother Earth by doing simple doable actions. Our continuing effort in our daily life will make this beautiful planet thrive.
