BHARTIYA VIDYA MANDIR SEC 39, CHD ROAD, celebrated its 20TH FOUNDATION DAY
The Foundation Day at BHARTIYA VIDYA MANDIR was celebrated on 15 APRIL (Friday) with zest and gaiety.
The verve and passion of the students was perceptible in their performances. INTER HOUSE COMPETITION was organised for the Students of classes I - XII in which they congregated and put up intriguing activities such as poem recitation, singing songs and poster making dedicated to the school. Students participated keenly in Declamation Contest and expressed their concern emphatically, stressing role of school in student's life. Ridhi of class VII procured best singer tittle. Shourya of class VIII succeeded in attaining first position in declamation contest.. Dance performance by class XII students reflected upon the progress made by the school since its inception. However Rohit of class IX and Yachika of class XII bashed and acquired 1 prize in self composed poem and dance dedicated to their proud BVM sequentially .Bhumika, who entered the poster making contest along with many other students , made the winning poster for her school. It was followed by various indoor and outdoor games as well.Gavish and Ayra of class I secured 1st position in junior ludo competition and Swami Vivekanand House secured 1st position in chess and carrom with 30 points. Everyone present cherished the moments, shared their experiences and promised to collaborate their efforts for the glorification of school. On this auspicious occasion ,Principal, Upasna Modgil infered that the young generation needs to imprint strong footprints so that no storm can erase them. She also desiderated that the school achieves many more milestones in the years to come.
