To promote the national integration and communal harmony, BVMites solemnised the birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji with celestial ardour and hilarity. Ms Harpreet Kaur (TGT Maths) through her speech apprised all about the principles and teachings of the pious saint, Guru Nanak Dev ji. A serene and calm wave was created by the soothing shabad sung by Manmeet Singh of class IX. Students of classes I and II were donned in traditional Sikh attires as Panj Pyaare. Pupils of classes III to V exhibited their skills through poster making on Gurupurab and students of VI to VIII showcased their artistic talent through portrait sketches of the Jagat Guru. To make the young generation aware about the value of the Seva, students of IX to XII along with their parents visited to Gurudwara Sahib, where they served langar to others which rented a religious fervour in the environ.
Principal, Ms.Upasna Modgil,in her address eulogized the pietistical manoeures of staff and students. She also revealed the motive behind celebration was to bring home the relevance of the festival to our young generation and impelled the children to follow universal brotherhood.
