World Cancer Day
Let's take a step forward to make a cancer free world
To create cognizance on cancer, World Cancer Day was solemnized at BVM, Sector -39,Ldh. Students were made aware of the causes, types and prevention of cancer through copious activities . An active and healthy lifestyle is significant to prevent this desease. Aarchi Kapoor of XI (Humanities) lectured on Cancer awareness that cancer is curable ,if diagnosed and treated early .Teachers also incentivized students to be acquainted with how cancer impacts them, around them and society as a whole. Slogan writing activity was also escorted for the students of classes V to VII.Principal, Upasna Modgil in her address said that young people's voice are highly important in pressing Government to make *cancer a priority health issue. She endorsed the students to eat only homemade food and evade junk food.
