International Day for Disaster Reduction (IDDR) held every 13 October, celebrates how people and communities around the world are reducing their exposure to the disasters. To make the students aware about this day BVM Sector ,39 solemnized the day with colossal gusto. MS. Anupama( Coordinator Primary Department) in her deliverance unraveled the aspects and prospects of the day. She also promulgated the theme for the year 2020 that is 'Disaster Risk Governance'based on the impacts of Covid-19. Ms. Harpreet Kaur (PRT) also demonstrated the types, effects ,safety measurements, and Legal Institutional Framework for it through a PPT. Principal Ms Upasna Modgil ,urged students to take it upon themselves to take care of the planet most sincerely and to pick up more humane steps for it.
