India's 3rd National Festival Gandhi Jayanti and Birth Anniversary of our former Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri ji was celebrated at BVM ,Sector -39 with full fervor and gaiety. Entire staff of the school created a patriotic ambiance depicting Gandhian ideas of Truth, Non violence ,Satyagraha, Sarvodya ,Savraaj, etc through videos.It was followed by PPT presentations which highlighted the values and teachings of both leading lights. A special speech exhorting Mahatma's quotes and messages by Ms Kamini(PPRT) brought all to understand more about these iconic leaders. Parents and students also imbuded with Bapu's values and thoughts by engaging in varied acts like poster making ,slogan writing and dialogue delivery etc ,glorified the central theme as Non Violence which was highly propagated by Bapu ji. Principal ,Ms Upasna Modgil, in her address said that Gandhian philosophy is more relevant in the present world . She added that global peace and social equality can be achieved by following the teachings of the Great Souls.
