Presenting an alluring glimpse of great Indian tradition and culture with a concoction of great harmonious stability and heritage, the festival of Raksha Bandhan and Sanskrit Diwas were celebrated with great ardour and gaiety by the students. The curtain raiser of one of the all events was a demonstration on Rakhi making by Ms. Meena Gupta (Art Teacher) followed by the mouth watering cooking demonstrations by the girls adjoining the gift wrapping demonstration by the boys of senior wing. A series of beautiful clippings of events like dazzling selfmade rakhi, act and song dedicated to brothers and sisters, and specially the songs dedicated to the soldiers were the heart and soul of the occasion. On the occasion of Sanskrit Diwas an enthralling performance of chanting sanskrit shlokas, heading by the Sanskrit teacher Mr. Sunil captivated the attention of all. Principal Ms Upasna Modgil emphasized on the increasing relevance of our great Indian traditions and culture and of its global importance in present time.
