In a bid to encourage a move back to a more sustainable way of taking our shopping home, Global Paper Bag Day was observed by the students to raise awareness about the paper carrier bags. To educate the children about the eco friendly paper bags, a series of craft activities was generated along with an initiative demo on making Paper Bags by Kashish Gupta, student of XI Commerce through which students prepared attractively designed beautiful handy paper bags with pretty prints on them showing great zest and zeal, reflecting the importance of paper bags. As paper bags not only eliminate the problem of plastic waste but can also actively help in combating climate change. The day was aimed to encourage more people to use the biodegradable, eco-friendly paper bags.
