To mark the 550TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY of PAHLI PAATSHAHI, SHRI GURU NANAK DEV JI, a week-long celebration was designed with diverse religious activities to make the occasion momentous. The festive event commenced with the MOOL MANTAR recited by the students of Primary Wing followed by Quiz and eloquent speeches highlighting the various aspects of Guruji's life and his teachings filled the environment with divinity. On the last day, Prabhat Pheri headed by the Panj Pyaras carried out in the vicinity was the main attraction. Chanting of devotional hymns from the holy Guru Granth Sahib, epitomising their faith in the glory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji raised the spirit of the day. Students were reminded anew of the message of sanctity, faith, trust, honesty, karam and kirat through a play related to Guru Ji's life. Prasad was distributed amongst all.
Principal Upasna Modgil, exhorted everyone to revive the spirit of spirituality which leads us towards purifying our inner-self and advised the students to do meditation daily to improve their concentration.
