Rededicating of the ideals and values of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, BVM, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana has been geared up to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of apostle of peace and non-violence Mahatma Gandhi Ji with much patriotic fervor. To inculcate the values like non-violence, forgiveness, shramdaan and sincerity towards cleanliness and many more lined up activities are scheduled for the students to honour the his legacy. On the very first day, Special Assembly was conducted wherein students spoke facts about Mahatma Gandhi ji's life, ideologies and his valuable contributions during pre-independence and post-independence period. Students sang devotional songs which created quintessential ambience in the entire campus. Gandhiji's plan of action to gain independence of the nation, understanding of all the burning challenges of the nation, empathetic attitude towards the poor and needy - depicted through Documentary Movie really touched the students and they pledged to follow the victim of simple living and high thinking.
Principal, Upasna Modgil, in her message stressed on the need to adopt a global sense of responsibility to eliminate all the vices prevailing in the society which Gandhiji dreamt of.
