Inter Branch Patriotic Group Song Competition « 17/Aug/2019

MUSIC IS THE SOUND OF SOUL…………

There is nothing more valuable than freedom. The patriotic message and emotions were well conveyed through the songs sung by the participants of the ‘INTER BRANCH PATRIOTIC GROUP SONG COMPETITION’ hosted by BVM, Chandigarh Road.  The function commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony by the President of BVM Trust, Sh. M.M. Bamba Ji alongwith the judges Smt. Ambuj Mala, Assistant Professor, HOD Music, DD Jain Memorial College, Ludhiana and Sh. Gobinder Singh, Music Teacher, Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town, Ludhiana followed by classical vibes - Saraswati Vandana. Young vocalists brimming with enthusiasm swayed to the beats and presented melodious tribute to the freedom fighters of India.
          An energetic dance performance by the students attired in the tri-colour kept the flame of patriotism alive.  Harpreet, student of +1, moistened all the eyes with his patriotic song on Bhagat Singh. All the young maestros of the teams named as ‘SUR’, ‘TAAL’, ‘SARGAM’ and ‘ALAP’ made the competition a great success. All of them spellbound the audience with their melodious compositions and singing. Team ‘ALAP’ of Kitchlu Nagar Branch clinched FIRST POSITION and team ‘SUR’ of Branch Udham Singh Nagar bagged SECOND POSITION.
          Winners were honoured with certificates and trophies. Sh. M.M. Bamba Ji (President) and Sh. R.K. Behal Ji (Member) of BVM Trust lauded the indomitable efforts of the students and messaged that music has a wonderful confluence with nature, music creates positive thinking which shows the way to take man forward.
          Principal, Upasna Modgil, congratulated all the winners and said that music is a spiritual practice that spreads positive messages globally.
