GURU PURNIMA was celebrated in BVM Chandigarh Road in completely new way with added fervor where students did PUJAN & VANDAN of their teachers according to traditional Bhartiya System in their morning assembly today to sermonize Guru-Shishya Prampara. Keeping up with the tradition of revering gurus for their invaluable contributions in shaping the young minds, a special assembly was conducted, marked by the floral tribute to the great sage ‘Veda Vyasa’ in ritualistic respect of guru puja. On this momentous occasion, students of senior wings illustrated the significance of the day and expressed their their boundless gratitude towards their teachers. Students of Primary wing recited POEMS andSHLOKASwhich filled all the hearts with stupendous reverence. An electrifying dance performance by Tisha and Shweta, students of XI, left everyone mesmerized. The entire campus was filled with a lot of positive energy. Principal, Upasna Modgil, said that celebrations like this really help to restore values that are declining and vanishing from the society.
