BVM CELEBRATES CULTURAL FIESTA
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Sector-39 memorizing Jallianwala Bagh Massacre (100th Anniversary) ardently and celebrated Baisakhi, the harvest festival of Punjab with zest and zeal along with commemorating the Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The kindergarten wing was adorned tastefully depicting the Punjabi tradition and culture to apprise the children of their rich culture. Various activities were lined up from I to X classes, like ‘Fancy Dress Competition’, ‘Solo Dance Competition’ and ‘Folk Song Competition’. The focus of attention was NUKKAD NATAK on Jallianwala Bagh Massacre’s 100 years performed in nearly locality Sector 32 and HL Colony, viewed by residents and gave appreciation for the school. To impel the celebration a ‘Quiz Competition’ based on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was organised in which all the teams participated nimbly.
Principal Mrs. Upasna Modgil conveyed best wishes and encouraged students to enjoy and respect all the festivals with equal harmony.
