Awareness Seminar on ‘Influenza’
An awareness seminar on ‘INFLUENZA’ was organized in which Dr. Divjot Singh (District Epidemiologist) and Dr. Ramesh Kumar (District Epidemiologist) and Sh. Rupinder Ji (from CMO Office) spoke about swine flu infection among children which is a significant worldwide problem. Sh. P.C. Goyal Ji (Secretary of BVM Trust) and Sh. Manoj Gupta (Vice-Secretary of BVM Trust) were also present. Doctor said that swine flu spread from person to person by droplet through coughing or sneezing of people suffering with influenza. He shared strategies which help to prevent the virus from entering the human body (such as limiting social contact, improving hand hygiene and wearing face masks).
Sh. P.C. Goyal Ji thanked the officials from civil surgeon office for enlightening the students and told students to convey the messages to other for community welfare.
