*Making Mathematics Engaging: National Mathematics Day Celebrated at BVM*
On the occasion of National Mathematics Day, *Bharatiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Sector-39, Ludhiana *organised a variety of academic and creative activities to cultivate interest in mathematics and enhance students’ logical thinking skills. The programme was thoughtfully designed according to class levels to ensure maximum participation.
*Primary classes* enthusiastically took part in weighing scale activities and puzzle games, helping them understand measurement and number concepts through joyful learning. The concept of fractions was explained through innovative craft-based activities, making abstract ideas simple and engaging. A mathematics quiz, conducted by subject teachers, further sharpened students’ analytical abilities.
*Students of Classes VI to VIII *expressed their creativity by designing mathematical rangolis, beautifully blending art with numbers. During the programme, students also took a pledge to practise mathematics regularly and apply it in daily life.
*Principal Mrs. Upasana Modgil* appreciated the active participation of students and emphasised that such initiatives transform mathematics into a subject of joy and curiosity. The celebration concluded in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and meaningful learning.
