Awareness Session on New Road Safety Rules
as directed by Govt. of Punjab was conducted for students of XI and XII classes
In an initiative to make responsible citizens on roads, an awareness session on Traffic Rules and Regulations was conducted by District Traffic Police for the students of XI and XII std. Expert from Traffic Police, ASI Harjinder Singh and ASI Sanjeev Sharma from Moti Nagar Police Station made aware the students about the pros and cons of following and neglecting new traffic rules and regulations to be implemented by Govt. of Punjab from 1 August 2024. They were informed that strict action will be taken like 3 years imprisonment including penalty of Rs 25000/- against parents and students below 18 years on finding any fault against traffic rules. It was an appreciative move to construct and ensure a safe drive on roads.
Principal Upasna Modgil lauded the efforts of the officers to perform their duty with responsibility.
