BVM, SEC- 39 celebrated Martyrdom Day Of Mahatma Gandhi/ World Leprosy Eradication Day with great fervor

To pay  homage to Gandhi Ji and to spread awareness about the disease of Leprosy BVM Sec- 39 observed Martyrdom Day of Mahatma Gandhi and World Leprosy Eradication Day with great zeal. Gandhiji’s inspirational thoughts reverberated in the  morning assembly. Students of classes I to V through Bhajan Gayan and Songs depicted the life, teachings and relentless efforts of Gandhiji in the freedom struggle. The students of classes VI to VIII prepared eye catching posters and slogans to make the masses aware about the symptoms and prevention of the disease of Leprosy. 
Principal, Upasna Modgil urged the students to become good citizens and imbibe Gandhian values in their lives and she further added that this day serves as a platform to promote efforts to eliminate the disease of Leprosy and educate the people about the condition to bring attention to individuals affected by it.
