BVM Chandigarh Road celebrated the incredible power of girls on International Girl Child Day.

  To mark the importance of the day, International Girl Child Day was observed at BVM Sec-39 with great fervour. Numerous activities were designed to recognise girls' rights and the unique challenges they face around the world everyday. The charming and gorgeous girls of classes III to VIII were dressed up like their role models and envisioned us that the girls are the epitome of strength, love, sacrifice and courage through poster making, slogan writing, singing songs and poem recitation. The students  also took pledge to save girl child, educate and respect them to end discrimination and empower them with equal opportunities. Principal Upasna Modgil eulogised  the efforts of the students and said that inspite of facing gender disparities, girls are now marching side by side with men in every walk of life they have proved that the girls are the blessings not the burden.
