BVMites spread the awareness on ‘World Mosquito Day’
To generate more awareness about the threat mosquitoes pass to our communities & to eradicate mosquito borne deadly & painful diseases like Malaria, Dengue, Chikungunya, Zika-virus, etc. World Mosquito Day was observed vigorously & prominently. Students with banners and boards went to nearby ‘Slum Area’ and presented Nukkad Natak to sensitize the people of Slum Area about the menace as they are most prone to such vector diseases due to unhealthy surroundings.
In her message, Principal, Upasna Modgil, exhorted to eradicate these deadly diseases that cause a million fatalities, pain & havoc. On this occasion, S.M.O. Dr. Amita Jain extended her helping hand by informing the common masses that medicines to cure these diseases are available free of cost or at low prices at some selected places. She also briefed about the ways to prevent breeding of mosquitoes as well as to control the menace especially at individual level.
