Janamashtami was celebrated with great mirth and joy 

 Janamashtami the festival to enjoy the devotional amity of Lord Krishna  was celebrated with great reverence and gaiety at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Sector-39, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana today. On this auspicious occasion, Bal Gopal was made swinging after lighting the lamp and offering wreaths at the lotus feet of Kanha ji by Principal alongwith staff members and students .  Tableaux depicting the different phases of Lord  Krishna's life like Bal Gopal Janam, Bal Leela,  Ras Leela etc were the centre of attraction of the festivity . Presentation of short acts revealing  Krishna-Sudama friendship, Seren Love of Radha and Krishna, Gita Updesh to Arjuna by Shri Krishna mesmerizedall . On this occasion temple and room decoration, rangoli making, Radha Krishna's dress decoration, flute - decoration- the expression of faith, love, dedication etc. of the children towards Shri Krishna through art and craft work  was very unique. All the students made the atmosphere luscious by performing " Sweet Bhajan Gayan".
