BVMITES solemnized World Paper Bag Day rhapsodically
With an aim to create a positive image about paper's intrinsic value as a renewable and sustainable material , * Paper Bag Day* was celebrated at BVM Sector- 39 with great enthusiasm . An Awareness Rally was organised for the students of IX and XI to promote the use of paper bags for the cause of saving the environment and to boost the
morale of all the students.Keeping ' Say No To Plastic , Use Paper Bags ' as the Motto, students prepared posters/ slogans and flash cards. Principal, Upasna Modgil in her address threw light on the worth of the day by saying that plastic waste takes thousands of years to decompose. It is important to understand the ill effects of single use plastic bags.She also encouraged all the students to use paper bags instead of plastic bags.
