International Women's Day: A glimpse of celebration
International Women's Day was celebrated to recognise the contribution and significance of THE WOMEN. The celebration highlighted the competency and intellectual capacity of women as capable of holding her responsibility as efficiently as men can do. On this occasion there were various activities performed by the students. Students shared their perspective on women empowerment through poster making on women scientist. Speeches by the students appreciating the unlisted efforts of mothers, sisters, grandmothers during the pandemic year adopting new technology spell bound all. One act play on women entrepreneurs showcased how women are self dependent in this modern world. Students also paid gratitude to the great female achievers of India like Mary Kom, Hima Das and the female staff of BVM through singing, dancing and poem recitation.
Principal, Mrs. Upasna Modgil spoke about the level of efficiency women can exhibit if given opportunity. She asked the women to feel proud as they are WOMEN - mother, wife, sister, daughter, officer, doctor and capable of holding every kind of executive role.
