B.V.M., Sector-39 commemorates
76th anniversary of the Quit India Movement
To instill the national pride & patriotism in students, BVM, Sector-39, observed 76th anniversary of the momentous movement – ‘Quit India Movement’ - an important milestone in the Indian freedom struggle when millions of Indians responded to the clarion call of Mahatma Gandhi Ji. To elevate the spirit of the day, a skit depicting ‘1942 Quit India Movement’ which triggered the Britishers leaving the country truly proved a turning point in attaining independence, awakened the audience for struggling against corrupt factors. A thought provoking speech was a perfect endeavor to create awareness about the historic day as it reminds of the seriousness of the country’s hardships & also about the long series of the sacrifices made by the revolutionary leaders.
Addressing on the occasion, Principal, Upasna Modgil said that the need of the hour is to resolve, to come together & work relentlessly for materializing the dream of a New India.
