World Dance Day was celebrated at BVM, Sector 39, Ludhiana ,with much anticipation and zeal . Students thoroughly enjoyed the foot tapping music along with aquisite dance forms. To mark the occasion an Inter class competition was organised for students,wherein they showcased their talents through various dance forms across the world. The kiddos of classes I and II initiated the competition by performing dance on the theme Save Earth. Students of classes III and IV matched the beat like professionals in Retro Dance.Students of V and VI familiarized current social evils through contemporary dance . Keeping rooted to the culture, students of VII and VIII expressed their vigour in Folk dance. Pupils of IX to XII presented lively Bhangra performance which bedazzled everyone. Principal , Upasna Modgil, applauded the efforts of the students and motivated all to take part in co-curricular activities along with academics to excel and grow.She also said that dance is an art form which helps in expressing the emotions of life and relax the mind, body and soul.
