Mahashivratri, a famous Hindu Festival was celebrated in BVM, Sec- 39, Chd.Road , Ldh in reverence of Lord Shiva with full devotion and sanctity. This festival was marked as a remembrance of "overcoming darkness and ignorance" in life and the world.The students including staff members initiated the occasion by offering prayers to Lord Shiva. It was observed to venerate the Lord Shiva by chanting Shiv bhajan Sandhya and also dancing on the hymns dedicated to Lord Shiva by the students of classes IX and XI with their family members. The students were filled with the spiritual fervour and all their faces brimmed with joy and love for God. Principal, Upasna Modgil in her message said that Mahashivratri is one of the largely celebrated festival in India is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to praise the God and seek the blessings of Lord Shiva. She also applauded the staff and the students for their efforts to make everyone spiritually energised and enlightened.
