Lohri , the festival which ushers in the joyous spring and bids adieu to the hard winter, celebrated at BVM Sector 39, Ludhiana with exuberance and fanfare. Students were totally engulfed in festive spirit. Students of Primary section were clad in traditional Punjabi attire and impressed all with their boliyan and tappe. The spirit of the students of class VI to VIII was high when they tapped their happy feet on the beats of giddha and bhangra . They sang songs those were immersed in rich cultural folklore of Punjab. A Cultural extravaganza was presented by the students through kite flying and kite decoration activity. Students presented solo dance performances which were full of great charisma.Principal Ms Upasna Modgil in her address congratulated all and dwelled on the significance of such festivals. She extended her kind wishes and mentioned to progress with positivity by keeping the morals high with honesty and determination.
