We Owe Our Life To Farmers
To commemorate the birth anniversary of the former 5th Prime Minister Sh. Chaudhary Charan Singh ji who introduced many policies to uplift the status of the Indian farmers - the backbone of our society, students thanked the sons of the soil in a unique way. Acknowledging the contributions of farmers, students voiced up slogans ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan’ and through write-ups they expressed their utmost respect and the vital role of farmers in building a healthy India. Students visited kitchen garden in the school, Sh. Dilip, Gardner make them learn how vegetables and fruits are grown so that they could value the contribution of the farmers in giving us life. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Upasna Modgil, said that the farmers are the founders of civilizations who toil hard to provide us our daily dose of nutrition. She exhorted the students to be industrious and respect food.
