To generate awareness about the detrimental effects of tobacco on one’s health, students of BVM, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana, observed ‘WORLD TOBACCO DAY’. They strongly condemned the use of tobacco and wielded their brushes to portray the harmful and alarming effects of tobacco which is killing and maiming many. Students of middle wing revealed their innovations to raise the concern by drawing thought provoking posters. Students with banners and placards to vigil the people enacted a ‘Nukkad Natak’, ‘SAY NO TO TOBACCO’ in the slum areas to eliminate the vice prevailing in the society with self control, determination, was a quintessential endeavour, appreciated by one and all.
