To spread awareness about global population issues among students, World Population Day was observed with great enthusiasm at BVM Sec-39, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana. A series of engaging activities was organised for students of Classes I to XI, including a teacher's talk, documentary show, poster-making, slogan writing, essay writing, cartoon-making, and speeches on gender equality. The students highlighted the connection between population growth and issues such as poverty, unemployment, lack of education, and inadequate accommodation.
Principal, Ms. Upasna Modgil, remarked, "The aim of celebrating this special day is to spread awareness about the dire consequences of population explosion. Natural resources may deplete if there is a huge growth in population, and therefore, it is our responsibility to serve humanity by encouraging sustainable development through the judicious use of natural resources."
