A Tribute to the Hands That Guide and Hearts That Inspire

Honouring the guiding lights who illuminate young minds and shape the leaders of tomorrow, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Sec-39, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana, celebrated World Teachers’ Day with a series of thoughtful and creative activities reflecting students’ gratitude and appreciation for their teachers. Celebrated globally every year on 5 October under the aegis of UNESCO and its partners, World Teachers’ Day recognises the dedication of teachers and their invaluable role in shaping the future of education and society. The celebrations centred on the themes of gratitude, respect and cherished memories.

Students of Classes III to V created appreciation cards for the Gratitude Wall, expressing their heartfelt thanks to their teachers. Students of Classes VI to VIII decorated their classrooms with inspirational quotes celebrating teachers and the joy of learning. Meanwhile, students of Classes IX to XI shared cherished classroom memories through brief presentations and storytelling, expressing their appreciation for the guidance, encouragement and support they receive from their teachers.

Principal Mrs. Raju Kaushal appreciated the initiative and emphasised the importance of respect, empathy and gratitude towards teachers. She highlighted that teachers not only impart knowledge but also inspire students to discover their potential, develop essential values and grow into responsible individuals. The celebration served as a heartfelt reminder of the lasting impact teachers have on the lives of their students.
