  • Mock Drill Session to Handle Emergency Situations

In view of the prevailing war-like situation and with the objective of preparing students to face unforeseen challenges in the future, a mock drill was conducted during the morning assembly at BVM Sec-39. The drill was also practised by the NCC Cadets of the Girls Wing to familiarise students with essential safety measures and emergency preparedness.

Hawaldar Surjeet Singh, NCC Officer from 3 Punjab Girls Battalion NCC, delivered an informative and motivational address under the supervision of Ms. Rajwinder Kaur (ANO). He guided the cadets on how to face challenging and war-like situations bravely and calmly without panicking. The students were also made aware of important emergency precautions, such as switching off lights when instructed, taking shelter in designated safe areas, staying together in groups and avoiding isolation during emergencies.

The mock drill helped instil a sense of awareness, discipline, courage and confidence among the students, emphasising the importance of remaining alert and following safety instructions during challenging situations.

Principal Ms. Upasna Modgil encouraged the students to cultivate the qualities of courage, resilience and determination, motivating them to face every challenge with confidence and a warrior's spirit, whether at home or on the front lines.
