Janmashtami Celebrated with Devotion and Enthusiasm at BVM Sec-39

To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, a splendidly colourful programme was organised at BVM Sec-39, Ludhiana. The auspicious celebration commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and offering floral wreaths at the lotus feet of Bal Gopal by the Principal, staff members, and little munchkins. The fragrance of flowers and the soothing aroma of camphor filled the atmosphere with spirituality and devotion.

Tableaux depicting the life and teachings of Lord Krishna were the centre of attraction. Beautiful group dance performances by the students reflected their excitement, enthusiasm, and joyous spirit. Tiny tots of Classes I and II participated in a Fancy Dress Competition with Dialogue Delivery, in which Gavish of Class II emerged as the winner.

Nandini of Class III showcased her talent in Bhajan Gaayan and secured the first position. Jessica of Class VII captivated the audience with her energetic dance performance and bagged the first position.

Principal Ms. Upasna Modgil blessed all the students and encouraged them to look ahead rather than dwell on the past. She emphasised the importance of celebrating festivals as a means of nurturing devotion, obedience, and respect towards parents and teachers. The celebration beautifully reflected the spirit of faith, cultural values, and togetherness.
