Symbol of Cultural Heritage..... World Heritage Day Celebrated 



To conserve cultural heritage and raise awareness about its diversity, "World Heritage Day" was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Bharatiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Sector - 39, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana today. Various activities and competitions were organized on the occasion,
Under which students were made aware about rich cultural heritage of India as well as of the world by organising skill work like- picture pasting  , slogan writing, speech, role play, collage making based on all aspects of cultural heritage of civilization like- music,dance,cuisine, attires,    art & craft etc. Depicting the culture of different states of India students of classes I to IX and XI made all to  connect with their culture and traditions by performing folk dances, folk songs, ramp walk on folk dresses, essay writing and project file making competitions , related to Indian heritage.  Krisha of class II, Trisha of class IV, Prashant of class VII and Rohit of class XI secured first position in these competitions. Principal , Ms Upasna Modgil  inspired the students to respect the cultural heritage of mankind She said we should protect and preserve the glorious heritage of our country. She congratulated the winners with her best wishes.
