71st Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur and the school echoed with patriotic fervour as the school premises was adorned in the hues of that tri-colour with balloons flag and kites. To mark the importance of the day, various competitions like Flag making, Patriotic story telling, Oratory skills, Fancy dress quiz on Patriotism and Declamation contest were also organized in the school premises. Students of classes 3rd to 4th came in attire of national leaders and freedom fighters. A special dance performance by the students of class XI on various patriotic songs mesmerized the audience and also energized them with patriotic fervor. The students of Class XI also visited an Old Age Home to make them feel happy and special. Aryan and Shivangi bagged first and second prizes in patriotic story telling competition. In fancy dress competition, the first, second and third prize were occupied by Mridun Bhumi, Akashira and Harshita respectively.
On this occasion, Principal Upasna Modgil motivated the students to be the harbingers of a social change to build a new, better and strong India and also said that performing duties sincerely would open a door way to rights.
